Adams Cabins is a resort for family, fun & fishing, located in Three Lakes, Wisconsin. The resort has six clean, fully equipped rustic cabins that are tucked away on the southwest shore of Spirit Lake, one of the best fishing lakes on the Three Lakes/Eagle River chain of lakes in Northern Wisconsin. We are just steps from the sand. A 14 ft. aluminum boat is available with each cabin for your outboard motor. With this boat you will have access to the chain of lakes through a channel to Laurel Lake. You are welcome to bring your own boat and launch at our private access. There is also a near-by launch ramp on the chain less than one mile away. Larger boats are unable to access our lake easily, which makes Spirit Lake extremely quiet and secluded, yet walking distance to town. Come sit and relax with us. Watch the loons that nest just yards from your door.

Adams Cabins was founded in 1926 by my father Adam Motylewski who was just 22! He received permission from his father to build the first cabin on the sandy shore of beautiful Spirit Lake. He called it the Honeymoon cabin (it is now cabin #3). When his parents died he purchased the property from his nine siblings and continued to build five more cabins. The last two (now cabins #1 and #2) were put up after my parents married in 1942. They were cabins purchased from the CCC camps. The CCC camps were set up as public works programs in the 1930's in the Nicolet National Forest. They are probably some of the only remaining CCC cabins from that time. Adam and Ann ran the resort together after they married. Many of the same families are still enjoying the fishing and water sports and traditions of their parents and grandparents. We are on third generation customers taking the same cabins their grandparents took. The cabins have been remodeled over the years with indoor plumbing, showers, and modern appliances - no more ice boxes! A boat has always come with a cabin. Rhinelander wooden boats were the first, then aluminum ones followed. The Rhinelander boats were the best as they were narrow with a keel which made them a delight to row. My dad would fish most of the chain rowing that boat! Adam and Ann's daughter and grandchildren now run the resort. In a testament to ADAMS CABINS, instilling a love for the North Woods, many of our customers have also purchased retirement homes in the area.
